Ocean Isle Beach, NC Portable Storage FAQs

Do you deliver portable storage containers in Ocean Isle Beach, NC?

Yes. Ocean Isle Beach is served from our Wilmington location at 4900 US-421. We deliver 16′ and 20′ containers to homes, businesses and job sites throughout Ocean Isle Beach and Brunswick County.

How soon can you deliver a storage container in Ocean Isle Beach?

Next-day delivery is typically available. Deliveries, pickups and moves are usually scheduled within 24–48 hours of booking.

What size storage container do I need?

A 16′ container typically holds about 2–3 rooms of furniture, and a 20′ container holds about 3–4 rooms. Both are roughly 8′ wide and 8′ tall with outward-swinging doors. Not sure which fits your move? Give us a call and we’ll help you choose.

How much space do I need for delivery in Ocean Isle Beach?

Plan for about 9 feet of width, 9 feet of height clearance (watch for low branches and wires), and about 12 feet of extra length beyond the container so our equipment can be removed. That’s roughly 28 feet for a 16′ container and 32 feet for a 20′. We can place containers on driveways, grass or gravel.

Will delivery damage my driveway or lawn?

We don’t use a rollback truck. Our truck stays in the street, and your container is set down gently on rubber pads and rolled into place, which minimizes wear on your driveway and lets us fit into tighter spots. If you place a container on grass for an extended period, it can kill the grass underneath, so a driveway or gravel pad is usually best.

Do I need HOA approval for a storage container in Ocean Isle Beach?

If your neighborhood has an HOA or property owners’ association, check its rules on temporary storage containers before your delivery date. Most customers place the container on their own driveway.

Can I keep the container at my home, or do you store it?

Either. Keep it on your property while you pack, renovate or declutter, or we’ll bring it back to our Wilmington facility, which is fenced, lit and monitored by cameras. Every container is built for coastal North Carolina weather, with an anti-condensation coated roof, full weather stripping and gaskets, and vents that help prevent humidity buildup.

How much does a portable storage container cost in Ocean Isle Beach?

Your price depends on the container size, how long you need it, and your address. All of our current pricing is available up front in our online booking app. We don’t use teaser rates: your rate stays the same for the life of your rental, with no hidden fees.

What if my moving dates change?

Plans change, and we’re flexible about rescheduling delivery and pickup. When you call, you’ll reach our office team right away, not a national call center.

What Are Customers Saying?

Excellent. And here’s why:
Professional, courteous, accommodating and communicative. We were finally able to move ahead with Florence repairs and needed to store the excess ahead of construction. I had my Badger box delivered within 48 hours to suit my schedule and updates throughout the whole process. (I’ve moved across country using the original box storage guys, so had an idea what to expect,) but was super pleased with my overall experience here and the fantastic value for money. I instantly referred them to friends who were moving and they were equally impressed! Support local and support these guys, you won’t be disappointed:)

So my Company was in a bind with the state concerning rats. We had a Small amount (Like a day) to get a storage box to our company. I call everywhere and they were going to charge over $200 a piece to deliver and pick up. So I decided to call Badger Box and Stephen was just so helpful not only did he get us a box within a day it was the day after the holiday so it's a busy time and everyone else could only get to us within a week. He explained everything no hidden fees the box was perfect. Not only That but his personality and customer service was 100% and that is what makes this experience so worth it. Shop Local!!

The absolute BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL my questions were answered ASAP! We had the box in one place and then changed our minds and the team came out immediately and put it where we wanted it! The box is super clean and just our whole experience was FANTASTIC FROM START TO FINISH! I will recommend BADGER BOX to EVERYONE! So happy to help support a local top notch business!!!!!

These guys know how to treat people! Chris is super helpful in figuring out what size box you need and he can finagle the box into any tight space. Definitely met my needs. Don’t bother with any of the other guys, Chris is the man.

The customer service and attention to detail and flexibility is paramount! The entire staff is exactly what you need when you’re stressed from moving! I would recommend them over the competitors 10 times out of 10 times! Price is great as well!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The staff is first rate, professional, punctual, flexible. The container itself - sat outside our home for 8 months January - August, holding a lot of our furniture, some antique, through some very extreme weather and temperatures. Everything came out of that container just as good as it went in.
We will happily work with Badger Box again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had an incredible experience with Badger Box in Wilmington, NC! Zak and Barry were an absolute dream to work with from beginning to end.

They dropped the storage box off at our home five months before our move, giving us all the time we needed to pack at our own pace instead of rushing. Once we were ready, all it took was a quick phone call, and they picked it up, safely stored it for the entire five months, and then delivered it right around the closing of our new home when we were ready for it.

The entire process was seamless, stress-free, and so convenient during what can be an overwhelming time. Zak and Barry were professional, friendly, punctual, and handled everything with care.

If you’re moving, building a home, renovating, or just need temporary storage, I can’t recommend Badger Box enough. This was hands down one of the easiest parts of our move. Thank you, Zak and Barry, for making such a stressful season so much easier!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I used Badger Box storage for several months during a move, this was the smoothest move I’ve had. I loved having access to my belongings right where I needed it, along with how easy it was to get it moved to our new place. It beats an onsite storage by far, and saved me lots of time and money. The owner was very helpful to my situation and Sean (the driver) and those I communicated with (Zach) during the process were very kind, quick to respond and helped make everything so simple. I am so thankful and pleased with their services, and will be verbally sharing, along with any social media connects I can to make sure I share my experience and hopefully can bring in more happy customers.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. What a great company! Just the highest level of service and excellence from Zack and Chris. Used a box for renovation...about 7 months. They handled all the hassles, permits, and unexpected delays with ease. My box sat through torrential rains this summer without a single drop of water getting in. Just the best experience all around..thanks guys!
